How to handle the 3D glasses

This year for the first time we will have 3 full days in 3D live surgery.

In order to appreciate the high quality of the surgical sessions, you will be given special 3D eyeglasses every day. All 3D glasses can be worn over prescription glasses.

Please pick them up every morning at the “3D desk” by leaving us your personal document (ID or passport). Eyeglasses must be returned at the end of each day at the same desk.

Therefore, we kindly ask you to have your document with you every morning. Eyeglasses can be handled only by receiving your document.

A few seconds after you are wearing the glasses, you should able to see the live surgery in 3D. In case this should not happen within about 10 seconds, please return the glasses to the desk, the battery may be low. We will give you another pair of glasses.

Please note that due to the high quality of the eyeglasses provided (active glasses), in case of loss, no return or damage, a penalty of 100,00 € will be applied.

Please do not leave them on chairs or other places where they may accidentally break.
